JHS ALUMNI INC. is a not for profit association incorporated
in New South Wales under the Associations Incorporation Act of 1984. It was
registered on 31 January 2007 and has its own Constitution by which it is governed and is administered by a Management
Committee.
AIMS & OBJECTIVES
The aim of JHS Alumni Inc. is to establish a network of past students
and staff of Jesmond Secondary School, Jesmond High School, Jesmond University
High School and past students and current and past staff of Callaghan College
Jesmond Senior Campus with the objectives of:
• developing and maintaining the JHS Alumni
Archives;
• facilitating opportunities for Alumni
members to renew past friendships and associations; and
• supporting current students of Callaghan
College Jesmond Campus in experiencing programs or events outside of the normal
school curriculum.
MEMBERSHIP
To join JHS Alumni Inc. you must have either been a student official enrolled
at Jesmond Secondary School, Jesmond High School, Jesmond University High
School or Callaghan College Jesmond Senior Campus or a member of staff appointed
to the above mentioned schools.
By becoming a member of JHS Alumni Inc. you will have the opportunity to be
involved in the running of the association as an office bearer or as a voting
member.
Membership is by application on the Application
Form and there is an annual membership fee of $25 payable upon joining
and renewable each July. Membership is subject to the eligibility criteria
above and all members are to be bound by the rules and regulations as set
out in the Constitution.
Your annual subscription will contribute directly to the development and maintenance
of the JHS Alumni Archives as well as support the current students of our
school.
