Mrs Carolyn Rigby

Teacher - Mathematics Department

1973-1982

I left Jesmond in 1982 but didn't lose touch, happily meeting up with ex-students and Netball girls and attending a few individual year reunions.

I rejoined the workforce in 1988 after having two sons, eventually working at the Newcastle Regional Museum as Education Officer (1993-2006). This posiiton led me to running into even more ex-students (and their children) through Museum Education Programs. Most conversations start with "You probably won't remember me but...you haven't changed a bit, Mrs Rigby".

I've now left the Museum - just before your grand-children arive! I'm still active in sport but now it's Orienteering rather than Netball.

I've got great memories of my time and friends at Jesmond - both staff and students.
